Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Goobii account and the personal data associated with it — the steps to request deletion, what is removed, and what we are required by law to keep.

1. Delete your account from the app

You can delete your Goobii account and its data at any time, directly in the app:

• Open the Goobii app and sign in.
• Go to Settings (from your Account / Profile menu).
• Tap Delete Account.
• Confirm when prompted.

Once you confirm, your account is deleted and you are signed out. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

2. Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email support@goobii.ae from the phone-linked email or contact number on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.

3. What is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following are removed or anonymised:

• Your personal profile — name, phone number and email address.
• Your saved vehicles.
• Your saved locations.
• Your saved payment cards / tokens.
• Your app preferences.
• Any active subscription is canceled.

4. What we keep, and for how long

We are legally required to retain records of completed transactions. Past orders and tax invoices are kept for the period required by UAE law (generally a minimum of five years under the VAT Law) to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

These records are dissociated from your deleted profile where possible, and are not used to contact, market to, or profile you after deletion.
